The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission enforces the laws on how investments are offered and sold to you. Protecting investors is an important part of our mission. We cannot tell you what investments to make, but this website provides unbiased information to help you evaluate your choices and protect yourself against fraud.

U.S. House Committee on Financial Services
The Committee oversees all components of the nation’s housing and financial services sectors including banking, insurance, real estate, public and assisted housing, and securities.

U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs
There is a subcommittee on Securities, Insurance, and Investment with Juridiction over the SEC: SIPC: CFTC.
