From Statista: Parrot Analytics. (December 20, 2019)

Most in-demand video streaming services in the U.S. 2019, by share of demand Published by Amy Watson, Jan 9, 2020 This statistic, based on data provided by Parrot Analytics, shows a ranking of the most popular platforms for digital original content. The data revealed that Netflix titles accounted for 59.9 percent of expressed demand in the third quarter of 2019, followed by Amazon Prime Video digital originals with 9.3 percent. The fact that the majority of the U.S. demand share was expressed for Netflix original shows is unsurprising given the popularity of the platform and its own content, however the source also notes that demand for Netflix has dropped slightly since 2018, and did so again between the first and third quarters of 2019. Most popular video streaming service
